Well, for several months, I knew that Rihanna was coming to town to do her last show on the Diamonds tour. I was going to go but then I kept pushing it off to get tickets. So, Nov 15 came and it was the day of the concert. I was just going to call it quits but then I got a text saying that I have tickets to go. I was pretty happy to go but not really excited because I'm not really a Rihanna "fan". I mean I do respect her music and I can withstand and actually sit through her music without regurgitating.

I got to the concert and it was packed but surprisingly not sold out. Remember I have never seen Rihanna before in my life so its a different experience. The two opening act were WeareGTA (some unknown EDM act I have never heard of) and A$ap Rocky. So, the first act was GTA and they were pretty much appetizer music and the arena was barely even half full. They played a number of EDM songs and remixes. It was pretty cool to see but they quickly overstayed their welcome. They stayed on stage about an 1 hr. After they got off, they begin preparing for A$ap Rocky. His DJ came out and started playing then he came out and started performing. It was decent. He is nothing to ride home about. I can withstand him tho. The place was about half full.  He stayed on played about 5 songs and was up there about 45 minutes. After he got off stage, they begin setting up for Rihanna.

The setup for Rihanna took about an hour. It was a well worth it wait though. The music built up and her band slowly rose up from the stage then the curtain dropped and there she was. The crowd went nuts and by this time the crowd was jam packed. She came on with Phresh off the runway. Now, I'm not a avid fan of her music but I do know a lot about her music and her because of my sis loves her. When she came on with the song, everyone was rapping along and acting buckwild. Then she played Birthday Cake. During this song I was at stand still because the song is not really a manly or a man appropriate song. And the same with Cockiness, which was next. She played Talk That Talk, which was ok. Then Pour it up. This song goes pretty hard on some time of level. I like the ooooOOOOooooOOOoooOOOOooOO part lol. Pretty cool. Cockiness lol then Numb came on. The studio version of Numb and the live version is totally different. I really enjoyed Numb because the band really shined and the guitarist plays extremely well. After the song was over they went into a instrumental interlude which was pretty amazing. She left off stage briefly and came back on with a new outfit and began to sing You da One. not a fav. Then Man Down, the crowd dug this one. No love allowed came on then I took a bathroom break lol. She played Rude boy which a song I dislike. Then What's my Name, she sang really well on this one. Probably my favorite part of the night was when she left of stage then came back out with another outfit and began to perform Jump. There was a timer on the stage and it was building up and then when the song dropped, fire just burst from the stage. It was a sight. She played Umbrella then a bunch of idiots pulled out umbrellas lol omg. All of the lights then probably my fav song of the night Rockstar 101. That song did go hard, I'm not gonna lie. The part I was mainly fascinated on was the guitar players skill. She played her new single What Now and I didn't know that one...the crowd did though lol. I liked the fire. She left then came out with another outfit and began to do a bunch of slow songs. Loveeeee song, Love the way you like part 2, Take a bow, then cold case love and Hate that I love you ft. neyo but he wasn't there. She left out again and came back out and the band disappeared so she can do her electronic songs. The dancers came out. She played We found love, S&M (went into the crowd), only girl in the world, and Don't stop the music. I remember when Don't stop the music came out. I liked that song. She played Where Have You Been then she left off the stage. The crowd started chanting Rihanna. She came back out for her encore. She had another outfit on. She played Stay and closed out Diamonds. The show was over. It entertained me very much. The ticket wasn't that much either. If I would rate it, I would give it a 9.2/10. I deduct point off from the setlist and she didn't give her band more playing time. I give her props from using a real band and not lipsyncing.

I also have phone photos not pro photos...sorry. I'll upload them later.

Here's the setlist

This is a review of Five Finger Death Punch's double album The Wrong Side Of Heaven and The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 1 and The Wrong Side Of Heaven and The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 2.

The Wrong Side Of Heaven and The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 1

1. Lift Me Up - The first single from the album. This song really rocks hard. When I first hard this song, I was really hype for the album. Rob Halford from Judas Priest has vocals on it and he fits really well. 10/10

2. Watch You Bleed - This song is a good song. It could have been a single too. It has that mainstream but still heavy sound to it. 10/10

3. You - This is the best song on both albums. This song is really groovy and is very catchy. It forces you to headbang. 12/10

4. Wrong Side Of Heaven - An emotional song. It is not one of the "heavy" tracks but is very melodic and heavy. 9/10

5. Burn MF - This song is very angry. Reminds me of Slipknot. The lyrics are pretty ehh but the music and bridge make up for it. 9.5/10

6. I.M.Sin - This song is really awesome and gets me energized. The lyrics are very strong and makes you feel powerful. 10/10

7. Anywhere But Here - This song could have also been a single. The vocals are outstanding and the track is perfect. 9/10

8. Dot Your Eyes - This song is ultra hard and groovy. This song is the second after You. It is catchy too and it is kinda like Under And Over It. 10/10

9. M.I.N.E (End This Way) - This song is very good. I love the lyrics and it is another song that could have been a single. On some sort of level it sounds like Three Days Grace. 9.5/10

10. Mama Said Knock You Out (featuring Tech N9ne) - This song is a cover of LL Cool J's song. The intro goes hard as a motherfucka. Tech N9ne also does great on this. 10/10

11. Diary Of A Deadman - This is the final song from the first volume. This song is riff oriented but most of the lyrics are spoken rather than sung.

The Wrong Side Of Heaven and The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 1 is a great album by itself. It could have easily pleased me for another two years.

The Wrong Side Of Heaven and The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 2

1. Here To Die - The first song on the second half. This song goes really hard and is kind of similar to Lift Me Up. 9.5/10

2. Weight Beneath My Sin - I like the vocals a lot in this one. The riffs are very strong. It has the similar structure as Watch You Bleed. 9.5/10

3. Wrecking Ball - This song wakes me up in the morning. This song is really hard. It makes you feel powerful. The riffs sound a bit like Lift Me Up and American Capitalist. 10/10

4. Battle Born - The first single from the second volume. The song itself is pretty predictable and generic. But there is something about it that makes me love it.  9.5/10

5. Cradle To The Grave - This song is like a typical FFDP song. Still great tho. 9.5/10

6. Matter Of Time - The best song on the album. This song is so Pantera its not even funny. It's really awesome. The breakdown is like....omg. 11/10

7. The Agony of Regret & Cold - Agony of Regret is a good interlude. Cold is a very good song. It reminds me of So Cold by Breaking Benjamin. It could be a single. It has that nostalgic vibe to it. Very emotional. 9.5/100

9. Let This Go - This is another song that is pretty average FFDP. Not that is bad thing or anything. It's still pretty cool. 8.5/10

10. My Heart Lied - Its an ok song. I like it but it doesn't really move me. 8/10

11. Day In My Life - This song is better than those other two. It could be a single. 9/10

12. House of the Rising Sun - This is a folk cover. Many bands covered it and this is my fav version. My least fav song from both parts though. 7.5/10

The Wrong Side Of Heaven and The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 2 is not as great as volume 1 but it is still excellent.

I personally don't think FFDP can ever top these albums. They both serve as albums that could have easily been released years apart. These albums are very hard and melodic. If you are a Corey Taylor fan, you'll love these albums. Every song. There is no way that someone can hate these. They were made so well. The bi-polar nature of the record is alone a seller. Great American Heavy Metal. Both parts get a 10/10.
