This is a review of Five Finger Death Punch's double album The Wrong Side Of Heaven and The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 1 and The Wrong Side Of Heaven and The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 2.

The Wrong Side Of Heaven and The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 1

1. Lift Me Up - The first single from the album. This song really rocks hard. When I first hard this song, I was really hype for the album. Rob Halford from Judas Priest has vocals on it and he fits really well. 10/10

2. Watch You Bleed - This song is a good song. It could have been a single too. It has that mainstream but still heavy sound to it. 10/10

3. You - This is the best song on both albums. This song is really groovy and is very catchy. It forces you to headbang. 12/10

4. Wrong Side Of Heaven - An emotional song. It is not one of the "heavy" tracks but is very melodic and heavy. 9/10

5. Burn MF - This song is very angry. Reminds me of Slipknot. The lyrics are pretty ehh but the music and bridge make up for it. 9.5/10

6. I.M.Sin - This song is really awesome and gets me energized. The lyrics are very strong and makes you feel powerful. 10/10

7. Anywhere But Here - This song could have also been a single. The vocals are outstanding and the track is perfect. 9/10

8. Dot Your Eyes - This song is ultra hard and groovy. This song is the second after You. It is catchy too and it is kinda like Under And Over It. 10/10

9. M.I.N.E (End This Way) - This song is very good. I love the lyrics and it is another song that could have been a single. On some sort of level it sounds like Three Days Grace. 9.5/10

10. Mama Said Knock You Out (featuring Tech N9ne) - This song is a cover of LL Cool J's song. The intro goes hard as a motherfucka. Tech N9ne also does great on this. 10/10

11. Diary Of A Deadman - This is the final song from the first volume. This song is riff oriented but most of the lyrics are spoken rather than sung.

The Wrong Side Of Heaven and The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 1 is a great album by itself. It could have easily pleased me for another two years.

The Wrong Side Of Heaven and The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 2

1. Here To Die - The first song on the second half. This song goes really hard and is kind of similar to Lift Me Up. 9.5/10

2. Weight Beneath My Sin - I like the vocals a lot in this one. The riffs are very strong. It has the similar structure as Watch You Bleed. 9.5/10

3. Wrecking Ball - This song wakes me up in the morning. This song is really hard. It makes you feel powerful. The riffs sound a bit like Lift Me Up and American Capitalist. 10/10

4. Battle Born - The first single from the second volume. The song itself is pretty predictable and generic. But there is something about it that makes me love it.  9.5/10

5. Cradle To The Grave - This song is like a typical FFDP song. Still great tho. 9.5/10

6. Matter Of Time - The best song on the album. This song is so Pantera its not even funny. It's really awesome. The breakdown is like....omg. 11/10

7. The Agony of Regret & Cold - Agony of Regret is a good interlude. Cold is a very good song. It reminds me of So Cold by Breaking Benjamin. It could be a single. It has that nostalgic vibe to it. Very emotional. 9.5/100

9. Let This Go - This is another song that is pretty average FFDP. Not that is bad thing or anything. It's still pretty cool. 8.5/10

10. My Heart Lied - Its an ok song. I like it but it doesn't really move me. 8/10

11. Day In My Life - This song is better than those other two. It could be a single. 9/10

12. House of the Rising Sun - This is a folk cover. Many bands covered it and this is my fav version. My least fav song from both parts though. 7.5/10

The Wrong Side Of Heaven and The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 2 is not as great as volume 1 but it is still excellent.

I personally don't think FFDP can ever top these albums. They both serve as albums that could have easily been released years apart. These albums are very hard and melodic. If you are a Corey Taylor fan, you'll love these albums. Every song. There is no way that someone can hate these. They were made so well. The bi-polar nature of the record is alone a seller. Great American Heavy Metal. Both parts get a 10/10.
